Umm..is this supposed to happen?

There is a downside to all this drawing I've been doing. My pointer and middle finger are slowly wearing away.

Well I was right, my professor extened the deadline so I've worked a bit more on this drawing. The conduit stuff has been a hassle/nightmare but I'm finally getting it. It's still not finished but I have the drawing going in the direction I want. Also you may notice that color is different, I took the picture this time with the actual lights on insted of just the studio lights.

Okay this drawing is due tomorrow morning, (that's Tuesday, July 12). I really could find a million things still not finished but from what I've gathered my professor will let us keep working on them, but this all I could manage to fit in before the due date.

Here is day three. I didn't actually have class today, I just went in to get some more done. I worked on the cable mostly then just some little adjustment here and there.

As promised here is what I accomplished in today's class. I really like the way it is shaping up. I worked a lot on the lamp, chest and two spheres today. I'm dreading that piping but I'll probably get to it tomorrow.

I had this epiphany while I was in my drawing 2 class today. It was the first day we started work on our charcoal drawings, and I thought it would be cool if at the end of each day of work on my drawing I took a picture and put them up on my blog. Once I finish I will have a step by step of the creation. Anyways this is the first day.

TRON

My brother-in-law who is 7 is on a TRON kick. He talks about it all the time and just got a new Wii video game. I decided I'd make this for him. It's not perfect but I think it's pretty sweet looking.

Savannah College of Art and Design

I am finally enrolled in classes at SCAD and have almost done my first week. I bought most of my supplies today not books just supplies and it was around $200. Just a little steep i think but i'm hoping it will be worth it. I'm sure it will be. I got really luck and SCAD ccepted all my credit hours from the other schools I've been to and I am a sophmore and should be a junior next quarter. stoked about that! I'm taking drawing 2, color theory and public speaking. should be a good quarter. anyways that's enough a bout my life. peace!

A Doodle

This is a doodle I've been working on and forgot about and started to work on some more. I using an image by Drew Brophy I remembered seeing once. I really like his work and would love to do more surf lifestyle pieces. We shall see what the future holds.

Eloquent Graffiti

So my wife's computer has taken a turn for the worst and has now been at Best Buy for something like a month and she has commandeered mine during the day while I'm at work.  That being said she has been playing with my Photoshop/Illustrator and has starting making some prints and opened an ETSY shop. Facelift

I'm giving my blog a facelift and updating it's readers with what i feel is import news... I got accepted to SCAD and could not be more ecstatic and proud of myself. I was also offered a preferred walk on position on the baseball team and I'm trying to turn that into some scholarship money. It feels so good that the whole reason we moved out here, and took such a huge leap of faith is starting to pay off.

Harry Potter

It's been forever since I've done something noteworthy of being posted on my blog. For my few followers I do analogize.  With coming release of Harry Potter Deathly Hollows pt. 2 I have been getting ready by trying to create some unique and original Harry Potter fan shirts. this is only my first attempt. I have many more ideas coming, so please stay tuned.

Gilly

It has been a long while since I have made a post. This blog isn't
really to tell you about my life but when such a big thing happens like getting a puppy I feel it must be put up on my blog. Yes! Kate and I got a puppy. It is a Lab mixed with what we think is German Shepherd. Her name is Gilly and she is the cutest thing in the world and we love her to death.

glowing and lighting effects

I'm just working on the blending options with photoshop, playing with glowing edges and lighting effects. here is what i came up with. Eventually i'll add some more and make a gallery for everyone to see them, so stay tuned, and i'll keep everyone posted.

iPhone

I've spent the last two days working on making an iphone in photoshop and then figuring out how to generte the HTML fo that my music player would be inside it. my iphone isn't perfect i'll keep working on it though and one day i'll make it more realistic, but for the most part I'm prety proud of myself. If anyone has suggestions on how I can make it look better I'd love to hear them.

Stumble Upon

A while ago now my cousin showed me this site called StumbleUpon. Next to facebook it could perhaps be the most addicting thing on the internet. For those of you who have not heard of it is basically Pandora for website. You choose catagories that interest you and then click stumble and it take you to a random site that corresponds with your interests. Amazing right!? well I've found some pretty awesome stuff on there. Tutorials for photoshop and just hilarious videos. Well I thought I would share a tutorial I found. Uncharted 3

I recently found out there is going ot be an Uncharted 3. To my wife this is of absolutley no importance but to me, well that is a whole different story. It is my favorite game and the may have some influence on out furture. I've known for a while now I want and art degree. I am offically a Graphic Design Major however what I want to do with the skills I am learning changes frequently. I kind of like that really, Just that there is so much freedom. However I have been getting kind of neverous about what my carreer choice will be. Playing Uncharted has given me just one more idea about where I could take my career. No, not fortune hunting, (though that would be amazing, and I did discover Atlantis while playing LIFE with some friends back in Utah) but video game design. I have always loved video games so what better than to have a job of creating the artwork for them. Anyways, noone reads this so I'll just shut up now.
