Finally Done

I'm finally done with my Surfing magazine project. Here is the digital version of it. You can also see it on BEHANCE... I should have the printed one mounted and everything ready to present in class done on Tuesday. I'll take pictures and put them up too. Enjoy.

ESSENTIALS

I follow this website called hypebeast.com and they do an Essentials post every so often. It shows what things thing rich and famous people take with them everywhere. Most of them are ridiculous because I highly doubt most of the people take all that crap everywhere they go. So I decided to make one of my own. It is ONLY the stuff I never leave the house with. I'd like to think it gives you a little glimpse of my style and the things I need to stay on point throughout the day.

1. iPhone 4S - could not survive without it. 

2. Dentyne Ice Split to Fit pack (spearmint) - happy wife, happy life

3. Fake Ray Bans - one day I'll be able to afford real sunglasses

4. House keys, bike lock, and bottle opener - i think soda kicks so much more ass out of a glass bottle

5. NIXON MILANO wallet - this is the newest piece to the collection and I love it.

Maybe one day I'll do what's in my backpack. Until then, that's it. What I have on me at all times.

2 YEARS DOWN!

Just a little something I through together since today is my two year anniversary.  I love my wife with everything I have. She is my rock and never ceases to amaze me with her stunning beauty and caring heart. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me.  

Spring Quarter Begins

The spring quarter is passing by even quicker than the last. I've got two project done already so I thought I'd share them. The first is a time line of surfboard design. I really like the way this one came out. It's simple but I think it has a good/applicable style to it.

In the next project we had to do an analysis of the geometry inside a snowflake and create a design out of our findings. I really enjoyed this project and the design I came up with. 

Magazine Spread

Magazine Spread for my Typography class. I really enjoyed this assignment. I had a lot of fun using the 20 field grid and combining images and creating layouts.

Finals

This was my final project for my Vector and Raster Graphics class. I had to redo a logo for a restaurante. Obviously I chose PizzPieCafe which is in Idaho and Utah. So I had to do the logo, coasters, t-shirts and a menu but that doesn't look good unless you see the 3D version and my prof. has it.

PizzaPieCafe

This is the logo I've done for ,obviously, PizzaPieCafe. I need help thinking of 4 designs for a set of coasters that are different from one another but correlate and work harmoniously together. Keep in mind I want to play off the same minimalist vector art as the logo. thanks.

Garamond/Harry Potter

Thanks for everyones help. It ended up being too close to call so I had the idea of using both of them. I also tweaked a few other things in the poster and I got 100% on it. So it turned out great I think.
